The Youth Congress six point charter of demands included conducting inquiry by the CBI in all chit fund cases, jobs to unemployed youth and taking action against corrupt officials.
Brar in his address said the Left Front government in Tripura had no political will to punish the chit fund companies which duped the common people because their leaders were also the beneficiaries.
"We have demanded CBI inquiry so that the local party leaders, who are beneficiaries, can not interfere in the investigation process," he said.
Brar further alleged, "the law and order had collapsed in the state and in the Communist-ruled Tripura and the crime rate against women is high.
