Five injured in road mishap in Saket

Five persons were injured today when an SUV rammed into a tree after its driver tried to avoid hitting a motorcycle but it toppled and hit the two-wheeler instead in south Delhi's Saket area, police said.
The accident took place around 12.15 AM when the Fortuner hit the motorcycle near TB Hospital, a senior police officer said.
Three persons -- Shantanu, Sugam and Harsh, travelling in the SUV were were injured, he said.
Rattanlal and Sunita were riding on the bike were also injured in the mishap, the official said.
All the injured are undergoing treatment and are stated to be out of danger, he said, adding that investigation into the accident is underway.
