Five killed in collision between buses

: Five persons, including a child were killed and45 injured when two state government buses collided head on at nearby Mundiampakkam today.
Those killed included three men and a woman.
Among the injured were 12 women.
Police said one of the buses capsized under the impact.
One of the buses was on its way to Kallakurichi from Chennai and the other was on its way to Chennai from the same town, police said.
District Collector Subramanian and Superintendent of Police Nagendran Nair rushed to the spot and made arrangements to rescue the injured and send them to the hospital.
