"A passenger vehicle collided with a jeep coming from the opposite side near Ratadia village on the Mandvi-Ghadshisha highway, in which four persons were killed on the spot, while one died on way to hospital," they said.
Two others sustained injuries in the mishap and were taken to a local hospital, police officials said.
A case has been registered and investigations are on.
