Five liquor smugglers held

Five liquor smugglers were arrested with 600 bottles of illegal liquor from different areas here today, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the joint team of District Excise Department and police conducted raid at various places and arrested the bootleggers, they said.
The accused were booked under Excise Act, police said.
The probe into the matter is underway, they added.
