Five Maoists held

Five Maoists, including a self-styled area commander of a proscribed outfit, were arrested today from different places in Bihar's Sheohar district, a police official said.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided Parsauni Gop village and held a Maoist Kailash Thakur, said to be a self-styled commander of the MCC, with a weapon, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Himanshu Shankar Trivdei said.
On Thakur's identification, four other Maoists identified as Jaimangal Ram, Ijazul Haque, Mangal Das and Md. Siraj were arrested from different places, the SP said.
