Five members of a family feared drowned at sea; one body found

At least one woman died, while five others went missing, after they were rapped in the high tide of the Arabian sea at Suvali beach, some 40 km away from the city today, a police official said.
The incident occurred today, when around 12 family members, went to the Suvali beach and got trapped in the high tide, the police official said.
Onlookers saved of six of them but the others could not be rescued, the police official said.
"As many as five members of a family went missing and a women was drowned after they got trapped in the high tide of Suvali beach today," Icchapor police station inspector V S Sarvaiya said.
The body of the deceased woman Manjula Dholiya (28) was recovered, the police official said, adding that chances of finding anybody else alive is slim.
The five others who went missing today, have been identified as Mansukh Darbar (35), his wife Pushpa (32), their son Dilip (15) as well as daughters Nikita (12) and Neeta (6), who originally hail from Barmer district of Rajasthan, the police official said.

The police official said that Manjula was the sister of Mansukh's wife Pushpa.
"Those rescued by onlookers, have been identified as Manjula's brother Manoj Chauhan (29), Jivan (22), besides Manoj's daughters Divya (15), Sonal (8) and Jagruti (6)," police official said.
Yesterday, Manjula and Pushpa had come to visit their brothers Manoj and Jivan on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan in Surat and today they decided to visit Suvali beach, the police official said.
