Five naxals, including two women, were today arrested from separate places in the insurgency-hit Bastar division of Chhattisgarh, police said.

They were identified as Neelaram Mandavi (25), Santuram Alami (30) and two women cadres - Raimoti alias Rame (25) and Budhri (21).
"There were inputs that these rebels had arrived at the local market of Barsoor (around 400 kms away from here) with an alleged intention of executing some serious crime and spreading Maoist propaganda, following which police team swung into action," he said.
The dreaded Raimoti was active as a member of the Company-6 of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) while the equally hardcore Neelaram was a jan militia commander, the official said.
Raimoti and Neelaram were carrying a reward of Rs 8 lakh and Rs 1 lakh on their heads respectively, he added.
