been arrested for their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a woman in Odisha's Malkangiri district, police said today.
The accused persons were arrested from Kotameta village in Malkangiri police station jurisdiction yesterday for abducting the 20-year-old woman from the same area on August 25, they said.
The kidnapping had been done as per a plan prepared by one of the accused, who had developed one-sided love for the woman, they said.
The young woman had been taken to Nandapur area in Koraput district from where she was rescued after she managed to contact a relative, the police said.
