Five persons killed as car overturns near Pipar

Five persons were killed on the spot and two others injured when a car in which they were travelling overturned and hit a school bus in an attempt to save a stray animal on Pali-Bhoplargarh road at Sathin village near Pipar in Jodhpur division, police said here.
The deceased were identifed as Deepak Soni (35), Sunita Jain (60), Kashish (4), Doli (8), and Diwanshi (6), they said.
The injured were referred to a government hospital in Jodhpur, they said.
The members of a family were on way from Pali to Bhopalgarh in their car when the mishap occurred around 0830 hrs, they said.

The bodies were sent to Jodhpur for post-mortem, they said.
The children travelling in the school bus escaped unhurt, they added.
