Five persons killed in two road accidents

Five persons, including three members of a family were killed in two separate accidents in Rajasthan, police said today.
Pushkar Raj, his wife Uma and son Manish were killed on the spot and a minor girl got injured when a car, in which they were travelling, collided with a truck at Eka-chauraha near Phalodi in Jodhpur division late last night, they said.
Pushkar's niece Monika, who suffered serious injuries in the accident, was referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur, Investigating Officer Sajjan Singh said.
The car was on way from Pokharan to Phalodi when the mishap occurred, IO said, adding truck coming from Gujarat was seized and driver detained at Phalodi police station.
In another accident, two young boys hanging from a door of roadways bus were hit down to death by an electric pole at Braham Bagh in Bharatpur district this morning, police said.
The deceased were identified as Rajendra and Narendra, both 18 years, the police said, adding the overloaded bus was on way from Nangla-jhara to Bayana when the mishap occurred.
In both cases, the bodies were handed over to the relatives after post mortem, police said.
