Five suicide jackets defused in Pak

Pakistani security forces today foiled a possible terror attack on crucial military and civilian installations here by defusing five suicide jackets found at a water channel near the city.
After the intelligence agencies received information that ten terrorists had entered Peshawar on a suicide mission, the security forces launched a joint operation to trace the explosive materials in Khyber Agency, an official statement said.
Following an investigation, they recovered five suicide jackets near a water channel in Shalober area of Bara tehsil, which is close to the city.
The suicide jackets were to be used in terrorism activities in Peshawar and its suburban areas, officials said.
