According to a temple release today, the ceremony would be held between 10:05 am and 10:29 AM.
The ceremonial feeding of sugarcane to the 'rock elephant' would be held on January 15.
The teppam festival would be held on January 24 when idols of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar and Piriyavidai Amman would be taken around the tank thrice.

Students participate in the festival are selected through arts and music coordinators of the EET, which hopes to host the festival in other states in the country soon.
"Previous editions of the IFLC have been held in 20 countries namely, ALgeria, Albania, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Krygystan, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, Philippines, Romania, Russia, Senegal, South Africa, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, USA and north Iraq," Acikgoz said.
Launched in Turkey in 2003, nearly 2000 students attended the IFLC festival held in 145 countries last year.
