Eleven people have been killed and two others have gone missing in the recent floods and landslide mainly in Western Nepal's Jhapa, Sunsari, Morahg, Siraha and Okhaldhunga districts, police said.
Earlier report said that at least 50 people have died in southern plains and the western Nepal hills over the past two weeks due to the disaster caused by heavy downpours.
Floodwaters continued to ravage residential areas and plantations in the Eastern and Central Terai districts.
The Home Ministry earlier said in a statement that nearly 12,000 people have been displaced and some 900 houses have been completely destroyed by the disaster.
Over 1,000 livestock have also died due to the floods and landslides, according to officials.
