"The sky was mainly clear during the day. The maximum temperature recorded was 24.5 degree Celsius while the minimum settled at 7 degrees, two notches below yesterday's 9.6 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.
The humidity levels oscillated between 97 and 32 per cent.
According to a Northern Railway official, around 32 north -bound trains were running behind schedule due to dense fog in morning hours.
The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy day for tomorrow.
"Light rain or thundershowers might occur in some areas later in the evening," he added.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum had settled at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
