While flight operations were also affected due to bad weather, no flights were cancellation or diverted.
"The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 6 degree Celsius a notch below normal and the humidity was 97 per cent," the official said.
The visibility was recorded at 200 metres at 5.30 AM which improved to 400 metres at 8.30 AM.
Twenty-one trains including those announced earlier were cancelled due to fog while 10 Delhi-bound trains including Purshottam and Poorva express were reported to be running late, railway officials said.

The weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy day ahead with possibility of moderate to dense fog tomorrow morning.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 19 and 7 degrees Celsius," the official added.
The maximum yesterday was at 19.2 degrees while the minimum had settled at 9.6 degrees, which was three notches above normal.
