Foggy morning with partly cloudy sky tomorrow: MeT dept

Residents of the state capital, who enjoyed a sunny day on the first day of the year, today witnessed a cloudy sky almost throughout the day that brought the temperatures down by a few notches.
Patna Meteorological Centre has forecast similar weather conditions tomorrow in the four major cities of Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
The forecast says it would be a foggy/misty morning with a partly cloudy sky later in major parts of Bihar tomorrow.
According to a MeT bulletin, the state capital witnessed a minimum temperature of 12.7 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 13.2 degrees Celsius.
The capital's maximum temperature was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 22.4 degrees Celsius, it said.
Both the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 20 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively tomorrow in the state capital, the bulletin said.

Patnaites woke up to a foggy morning with a cloudy sky that remained almost throughout the day. The sun came out for an hour or so but it was mild, not bright as it was on the new year day.
Gaya recorded a minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees Celsius, while its maximum temperature was registered at 22.4 degrees Celsius.
Bhagalpur had a minimum of 12.3 degrees Celsius and maximum of 23.4 degrees Celsius.
Purnea registered a minimum of 11.5 degrees Celsius while its maximum of 26.2 degrees Celsius was the highest maximum temperature recorded among the four major cities of the state.
The lowest temperature of 9 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sabour in Bhagalpur district, the MeT office said.
