World renowned biochemist and Nobel laureate Robert Huber today said that food, energy, health and environment are the huge challenges before the mankind and that the solutions are present in the brains of the young people and their enthusiasm.
Addressing the second convocation of Shoolini University here, Huber said, "Research will play a decisive role in all developments by making..."
Lauding Shoolini University for setting up the Centre of Research on Himalayan Sustainability and Development, he said, "If the task is taken up in earnest it will make the varsity stand apart among other Himalayan universities and it will be able to employ research and development tools for societal benefits on the one hand and conservation of bio-resources on the other."
Urging the students to become noble human beings, he told the gathering, "Find out what you really want to do and do it with enthusiasm."
The German biochemist said, "India was lucky to have the largest group of English-speaking youths who could be trained by collaboration with international institutions to employ their talent in nation building."
"New discoveries are around the corner but it needs open eyes, a keen mind and enthusiasm to grasp them," he added.
As many as 1,573 degrees were awarded to students on the occasion.
