"The minister is likely to hand over the mini-bus on Thursday," an official told PTI today.
The Union Rural Development minister had on August 9 met the players at Ormanjhi on the outskirts of Ranchi after they finished third among ten teams in the Gasteiz U-14 girls football tournament which was hosted in Spain in July this year.
Impressed with their penchant for soccer, Ramesh announced Rs ten lakh from his MPLAD funds to purchase a mini-bus for the promising girls to help them commute to schools and football ground every day.
