Panun Kashmir an organization representing the displaced Kashmiri Pandits today called upon the world community to force Pakistan to dismantle its terror infrastructure.
"It is high time to tell Pakistan to reign in its terror machinery and dismantle the entire terror infrastructure including the training camps operating on the soil of Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir," Ashwani Chrungoo President Panun Kashmir said.
He said that the Kashmiri panidt community was the prime victims of the Pakistan sponsored terror in Kashmir, "We have suffered a lot and this is the right time that the issue of their relief and rehabilitation takes primacy in the politics of the state."
He said that the internally displaced people of Kashmir were yet to receive any compensation for the losses that they have suffered in Kashmir as a result of "ethnic cleansing and mass exodus."
The National spokesman of the organization Virender Raina said that the members of the community were facing problem on the issue of the release of the ten-month's earned leave encashment that was due to the displaced employees at the time of their retirement.
"We have taken up the issue at appropriate level. The issue will be followed up once the new government takes over in the state. As this was a blatant discrimination against a section of the government employees, it creates unrest among the people and also creates divisions among different groups of employees," he said.
