Ford India rejigs senior management

Ford India today announced a senior management rejig with Vinay Piparsania being appointed as Director marketing, sales and service operations at Ford Global Business Services (GBS).
Piparsania will be replaced by Anurag Mehrotra as Ford India's executive director for Marketing, Sales and Service, the company said in a statement.
Vinay Raina, previously General Manager, Product Marketing, will take charge as Vice-President, Sales, Ford India replacing Anurag Mehrotra.
These appointments will be effective October 1, 2014, the company added
In his new role, Piparsania will lead the responsibility for the global marketing, sales and service operations (MS&S) operations in GBS. He will be based in Chennai, Ford India said in a statement.
Ford Motor Co's GBS division provides support to nearly every Ford location around the world in the areas of IT, engineering, finance and accounting, automotive financing, marketing, sales and service, analytics and purchasing.

Subsequently, Mehrotra will lead the responsibility for all aspects of MS&S operations of Ford India, including revenue, sales volume, market share, marketing strategy and launches as well as dealer development and after sales service.
Mehrotra had previously served as Vice President, Sales at Ford India and was responsible for looking after Ford's sales network in India. Earlier, he also served as the Vice President Marketing at Ford India and was instrumental in designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for Ford's product range in India.
Raina, in his new role, will lead sales operations of Ford India including sales planning and programming and fleet sales, Ford India added.
Commenting on the organisational realignment, Ford India President Nigel Harris said, "The leadership changes showcase how the in-house talent pool at Ford is being leveraged to plan for sustained growth."
He further said: "In line with future growth, it is also pleasing to see a perfect balance of experience and continuity being brought into effect with the forthcoming changes.
