Summary of observations recorded at 0830 hrs:
The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 4.5 kms a.S.L. Over western parts of Afghanistan and neighbourhood now lies over Afghanistan and adjoining north Pakistan. An induced cyclonic circulation extending upto 1.5 kms a.S.L. Lies over central Pakistan and adjoining west Rajasthan. Above two systems are likely to move east-northeastwards.
Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and of Kerala and were above normal in some parts of Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Telangana, Rayalaseema and of interior Karnataka. They were below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and of Vidarbha. They were normal over the rest of the country.
