Summary of observations recorded at 0830 hrs:
The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 4.5 kms a.S.L. Over western parts of Afghanistan and neighbourhood now lies over Afghanistan and adjoining north Pakistan. An induced cyclonic circulation extending upto 1.5 kms a.S.L. Lies over central Pakistan and adjoining west Rajasthan. Above two systems are likely to move east-northeastwards.
The cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha and neighbourhood persists and now extends upto 0.9 km a.S.L. The trough from the above cyclonic circulation to south Tamil Nadu persists across Marathwada and interior Karnataka and extends upto 0.9 km a.S.L. The trough in westerlies between 3.1 and 7.6 kms a.S.L. Has moved away eastwards.
Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and of Kerala and were above normal in some parts of Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Telangana, Rayalaseema and of interior Karnataka. They were below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and of Vidarbha. They were normal over the rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 39.5 dgrees Celsius at Anantpur (Rayalaseema).
Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar and of north interior Karnataka and were below normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and of coastal Karnataka. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan; appreciably above normal in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch, Vidarbha, Telangana, Rayalaseema and of Tamil Nadu and were above normal in some parts of Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, Odisha, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Gujarat Region, coastal Andhra Pradesh and of Kerala.

temperature recorded in the region: Ramagundam and Adilabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 44 degree celsius in the region.
