Foreign currencies found from Bangkok-bound passenger

Foreign currencies worth over Rs 46 lakh were today recovered from a Bangkok-bound passenger at the N S C B International Airport.
Airport sources said as the Indian passenger Pankaj K was about the board Kolkata-Bangkok flight TG 314, he was intercepted by Customs in Departure area.
The currencies included - USD 22800, Riyal 159500, Pound 1310, Dirham 13000, the sources said adding he was being grilled.
