The two suspended are the beat officer of Burapahar range of the Park, Pranabjyoti Dutta and the in-charge of the anti-poaching camp in the same range, Gopal Newar, Divisional Forest Officer D D Gogoi told PTI.
The range officers of Burapahar and Bagori Ikramul Majid and K K Deka respectively have been show-caused notices in connection with the killings.
Three homeguards of Hatibandi camp - Abdul Rehman, Nurul Islam Fakir and Harun Rashid - have also been removed from duty, he said.
Two rhinos were killed and their horns removed on two consecutive days from January 28, while two others strayed from the Park with one of them sustaining bullet injuries yesterday in Golaghat.
Five rhinos have been killed and its horns removed so far during the first month of this year in the Park. Rhino horn is considered an aphrodisiac.
The state government has directed the CID to take over the investigation of cases related to poaching while state Forest Minister Rakibul Hussain has asked for a CBI inquiry into the poaching incidents.
