A forest department team has captured two panthers allegedly responsible for killing two women in the district recently.
"Four cages were placed in the area. One panther was caught in a cage near Rampura, while another was found in an injured state and was subsequently tranquilised," said R S Shekhawat, chief conservator of forest and field director of Sarsika Tiger Project.
"Both panthers have been shifted to Jaipur," he said.
Earlier in the week, two women were killed by panther while collecting sticks in the forest.
55-year-old Shanti Bai was killed by a panther in Raipuria village close to Sariska forest on Monday, a day after another women, Birdi Bai (45), was killed.
