Forest officer's son shoots self

A 21-year-old man, son of a forest officer, today committed suicide by shooting himself with his father's service gun, police said.
The incident took place at the official residence of Forest Ranger Abhay Pratap Singh Baghel in Surjkund Ground area here, police said.
The deceased was identified as Tapan Baghel, police officer Anil Sharma told reporters.
While his father was away at work, his mother was in another room of the house at the time of the incident.
Police said that according to his parents, Tapan suffered from depression and spent his time alone in the house. Further probe is on.
