Forevermark India partners with 19 Indian jewellers for Oscars

Forevermark, the diamond brand from The De Beers Group of Companies, has partnered with 19 Indian jewellers to showcase curated pieces from the Red Carpet Collection 2018 for the 90th Academy Awards.

Broadcaster Star India has got five additional brands on board including Amul, Colgate, Parle Products, MakeMyTrip for the Indian Premier League (IPL) taking the total advertisers count to 16.
"Advertisers interest in IPL continues to be very high and we are in advanced conversations with a number of other categories and brands which we will close over the next few days," Star Sports Executive vice-president and head of adSales Anil Jayaraj said.

Media agency Mindshare today said it has elevated Amin Lakhani as Mindshare India president client leadership, who will be responsible to further strengthen client relationships and drive growth in a cross media market.

Global value chains will play an important role in achieving government's growth target of USD 5 trillion economy by 2025, additional director general of foreign trade Sonia Sethi said here.
Speaking at the 7th global economic summit on 'Global Value Chains: Accelerating MSME Growth, Development and Sustainability' here, Sethi said, 70 per cent of the world merchandise trade consists of trade in high potential sectors such as electronics, telecom, heavy engineering, among others. Micro, small and medium enterprises have a major role to play in trade in these high potential sectors.
Government is working out a strategy to upgrade ports and other logistics infrastructure in the country. Government has also taken various measures such as introduction of GST, improving ease of doing business, implementing electronics manufacturing policy, among others to promote global value chains in the country, she said.
