A case of forgery was registered yesterday following investigations into the case.

According to the complaint filed by Pranab Biswas, Under Secretary in Home Ministry looking after VIP Security, Muslim United Front president Abu Kaisar had complained to the Ministry that in spite of clear direction, Bihar government has not provided him VIP security till date.

Kaisar could not be contacted for comments.

In his representation, Biswas claimed, Kaisar enclosed letters dated 15.10.2009, 8.3.2010 and 20.1.2011 purported to have been issued by the then Under Secretary B K Pant.

"As record of this Ministry shows that no such letters were issued to the Government of Bihar under the signature of B K Pant, comments of the officer was called for and the officer has stated that the above dated letters are fake and his signature have apparently been forged," he said.

He said comments of Central Security Agency have also been obtained.
