Former BoB CMD Mallya joins Milestone's Board as Ind Dir

Milestone Capital Advisors today announced appointment of former chairman and managing director of Bank of Baroda M D Mallya as Independent Director on its board.
"Mallya's joining the board has been with a view to bring further value to Milestone's strategic and operational growth chart. We look forward to his strategic inputs to our ongoing and future business development efforts as well," Milestone, executive vice-chairman, Rubi Arya, said in a statement.

KEC International bags Rs 840 crore orders * Infrastructure firm KEC International today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 840 crore in the transmission and distribution and cables businesses from both domestic and international markets.
In the T&D business, the company has bagged orders of Rs 723 crore in Malaysia, Egypt and America and Rs 117 crore worth contracts in the cable business.
"With these orders, we have significantly strengthened our order book position and continue to consolidate our presence in the international T&D arena. These are major accomplishments in our pursuit to diversify and de-risk our geographic spread," company's managing director and CEO Vimal Kejriwal said in a statement.
