Rai, who arrived here on Sunday evening, held discussions with members of the five-member temple managing committee appointed by the Apex Court over the last two days.
Temple sources said auditing of the riches and all other assets of the temple is expected to start next month after finalising members on the auditors' panel to carry out the work.
Rai offered worship at the temple on Monday.
The Court had also appointed a five-member management committee, headed by additional district judge for the administration of the shrine, virtually decontrolling its control from the erstwhile Travancore royal family.
