Former CE of NCL arrested

EOB chief Praveen Vashistha said former chief engineer S S Singh had taken money from man assuring him that he would get his son admitted in a medical college through minister's quota.

The man lodged a complaint against Singh as he failed to get his son admitted to a medical college even after one year and also refused to hand over the money.

Based on the complaint, Singh was arrested from a hotel room near Gaya station.

Further investigations were on, the sources added.
