AICC member Thakur Singh Bharmouri, who called on Governor Urmila Singh here, alleged the government was not maintaining the Tissa of Kilar via Bairagarh Satrundi road and diverting the funds earmarked for tribal areas to non-tribal areas.

He alleged that construction of road was started from Satrundi side to benefit a contractor.

He also alleged that all government institutions in the valley were facing acute shortage of staff and the government had failed to provide adequate quantity of food grains under PDS in the tribal valleys of Pangi and Bharmaur.

Bharmouri said the PWD and IPH departments were issuing work orders only to few favoured persons and some contractors had been awarded more than 100 works in past four years.
