Former IAS officer Tubid joins BJP

Former IAS officer Jyoti Brahma Tubid today joined the BJP, a day after his voluntary retirement request was accepted by the government.
"I have joined the BJP in the presence of the party's state unit chief Ravindra Rai," Tubid said.
Asked whether he desired to contest the ensuing elections, Tubid said he has requested for giving him an opportunity to serve the people, preferably from Chaibasa.
Tubid was Principal Secretary Revenue and Land Reforms till his request for voluntary retirement was accepted yesterday.
