Former Odisha administrative officer found hanging

A retired administrative officer of the school and mass education department of Odisha was found dead in his house here today, police said.
Body of Somnath Mishra (68), ex-administrative and accounts officer of the school and mass education department, was found hanging from the ceiling fan at his residence in Garapur here, they said.
The deceased's son in his FIR alleged that his father was murdered by some relatives over a land dispute, Kendrapara SDPO Nrusingha Charan Swain said, adding, that investigation into the matter has been initiated.
