Former PTI journalist dead

Former PTI journalist Sukhendu Bhattacharya died here following a prolonged illness, family sources said.
He was 52 and is survived by his wife, two children and mother.
Bhattacharya had served PTI at Guwahati and Kolkata since 1988 and had taken voluntary retirement from the news agency earlier this year.
Various journalist associations of Assam condoled Bhattacharya's untimely death.
