Former Team India manager to fight LS election

Former Team India Manager Amitabh Choudhary today said he will contest the 2014 Lok Sabha polls from Ranchi Lok Sabha Constituency.
"I will contest from Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency," Jharkhand State Cricket Association president, told PTI here, but did not say if he would join a political party to get its ticket or contest as an independent.
"Wait and see," said Choudhary who took voluntary retirement when he was the Additional Director-General of Police.
Retired DGP V D Ram has already joined the BJP last year while former IPS official Ajoy Kumar is representing the Lok Sabha from Jamshedpur and is a leader of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric).
Another former ADG and Congress leader Rameshwar Oraon had been in the UPA-I Ministry.
