The five-member medical board constituted to take a call on Khan's medical report, found him stable and fit to be discharged, hospital authorities said.
"Mr Khan has a history of diabetes and hyper-tension. On Thursday we had admitted him after he complained of illness," they said.
"We have conducted all kinds of medical tests on him (Khan). A medical board was formed to look into his report and today morning it found him quite stable to be discharged," the authorities added.
Incidentally, Bidhannagar police yesterday freezed Khan's bank account which had a balance of Rs 3.14 crore.

In 1998, he was arrested from Jorashanko on the same grounds for duping youths after promising them jobs and again in two similar cases from Baruipur and another from Burrabazar in the same year, Barui said, adding that those cases are still under trial.
