Fortis Healthcare Monday said its wholly-owned subsidiary Fortis Healthcare International Ltd has completed the sale of its entire shareholding in Medical and Surgical Centre Ltd for MUR 393.6 million (over Rs 74 crore).
Fortis Healthcare International Ltd (FHIL) is to receive gross amount of MUR 393.6 million, Fortis Healthcare said in a filing to the BSE.
The buyers, CIEL Ltd and its subsidiary CIEL Healthcare Ltd, do not belong to the promoter, promoter group and group companies of Fortis Healthcare Ltd, it added.
Earlier, in another filing to the bourses, Fortis Healthcare had said it had received shareholders' nod for offloading stake in Medical and Surgical Centre Ltd.
Medical and Surgical Centre, an indirect associate company, was held through Fortis Healthcare's wholly-owned subsidiary Fortis Healthcare International.
Shares of Fortis Healthcare closed at Rs 130.20 per scrip on the BSE, down 1.88 per cent from its previous close.
