Four arrested for drug peddling in Punjab

Four alleged drug peddlers, including a woman, were today arrested by the STF of the Punjab Police, who also seized six kg heroin and cash worth Rs 19 lakh from their possession, an official said.
Acting on a tip-off, the accused -- Krishana Kumari, Harmesh, Baldev Singh and Nishan Singhwere -- were arrested on the outskirts of the city, Special Task Force in-charge AIG Rashpal Singh said.
The official said they were allegedly in touch with smugglers operating from across the border.
