Four children die after consuming poisoned food in Bihar

Four children died after a family of eight allegedly consumed poison over frequent quarrels within themselves in Hasanpur village in rural Patna, police said today.
Sujit Kumar, fed up with frequent fights in his family between his two wives, consumed food laced with poison for dinner and gave it to all eight members last night, Station House Officer of Barh, Ajay Kumar said.
Four children aged between two months and 12 years died due to consumption of poison while the man, his two wives and a son were battling for their lives in Patna Medical College and Hospital.
The SHO said the two wives of the man were sisters and indulged in frequent fights.
