Four children, two women killed in house fire

Four children and two women of a family were killed when a three-storey building caught fire at Kasiram Residential colony under Kharkhoda police station here this morning, police said.
Among those killed are Shazia (30), two of her children, her sister Reshma and two of her children. Shazia's husband Parvez (35) and one of their children were seriously injured in the fire, area in-charge Ritesh Kumar said.
Seven fire engines took five hours to bring the fire under control, police said.
Police and administration officials rushed to the spot and pacified the miffed locals who refused to hand over the bodies alleging that police reached two hours after being informed about the fire, they said.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, police said.
Investigation is on to find out the cause behind the incident, police said.
