Four criminals held with arms and ammunition

Four hardcore criminals were arrested today with a haul of arms and ammunition from Murut Diara locality under Alamnagar police station area in Bihar's Madhepura district, police sources said.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided a hideout and nabbed the hardened criminals, including the dreaded Durba Yadav, and seized three rifles, three pistols and 77 ammunition, the sources said, adding one of the recovered rifle was looted from policemen.
Yadav and his arrested associates were wanted in dozens of cases of murder, loot and extortion in Madhepura and adjoining districts, they added.
