Four from Assam dead in accident in Sangareddy district

Four persons, natives of Assam, were crushed under iron sheets and died on the spot in Sangareddy district of Telangana this evening.
The tragic incident took place outside a factory at Indrakaran village in Kandi mandal.
According to Venugopal Reddy, circle inspector, BDL Bhanoor police station, a lorry was reversing from the factory gate when the iron sheets it was carrying slipped due to a bump as it hit a pothole.
The sheets fell on a passing auto-rickshaw in which Saroj Kumar (28), Suraj Kumar (23), Chuttu Bhakta (18) and Sudama (20) were travelling. All were from Assam.
All four died on the spot. Four others who were in the rickshaw were injured.
