Four held for attempting to kill man in UP

Police today nabbed four persons from Gautamgarhi village for allegedly plotting to kill a man belonging to the same village, police said.
"Some land dispute was on between Jag Prasad Dubey and Jagdev Passi of Gautamgarhi village and the latter called some of his associates to kill Dubey," SHO Jamo S N Shankhwar said.
The four men reached the village and allegedly attacked Dubey who managed to call the police. The SHO and some other cops rushed to spot and nabbed the four accused after chase.
The accused have been identified as Hira Lal of the same village, Ram Garib of Gogmau, Vijay Gupta of Rajgarh village and Arjun Passi of Sauna, he said.
Also nine motorcycles and a car were recovered from their possession, police said.
On a complaint of Dubey, police has lodged an FIR against the accused.
