Four highway robbers nabbed

Police have arrested four persons who allegedly waylaid a truck near Kasa on the Mumbai- Ahmedabad Highway and robbed its driver.
The truck, loaded with cosmetics, was on its way to a godown at Bhiwandi when the four came in a car and forced it to halt last evening. The robbers pulled out the driver and relieved him of Rs 17,000 in cash and snatched his mobile phone before fleeing, Inspector Ravindra Magar of Kasa Police Station said.
The truck was left untouched. Within hours of the incident, Kasa Police swung into action and traced the four to an ongoing fair at the Mahalaxmi Temple near here, he said.
Those arrested were identified as Kamlesh Arvind Dubla, (21), Keyul Rabilbhai Patel (35), Bhabubai Dalpat Patel (23) and Vipul Narottam Patel (29).
