seriously, in a head-on collision between a heavy earth-mover vehicle and an ambulance, at Thokkottu near here late last night.
The ambulance was bringing a patient from Kanhangad in Kerala to a hospital in Deralakatte near here when it collided with a JCB coming from the opposite direction, police said.
The patient Aboobakker, two of his relatives and the ambulance driver were injured. The injured had been admitted to a private hospital, they said.
