Four kg gold seized; two women held

Four kg of gold was seized and two women arrested in this connection at the airport here, police said today.
Air Intelligence sleuths seized the gold when Indhirani (53) and Lourdu Mary (73) arrived by a flight from Malaysia around mid-night, last night.
They had hidden the gold in their undergarments, police said, adding, the worth of the gold was about Rs.1.08 crore.
