The accident occurred when the truck loaded with sand was coming to Udhamsingh Nagar from Uttar Pradesh and it suddenly overturned on Ramraj road killing two persons on the spot, police said, adding, other two died on way to hospital.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna has expressed grief over the accident and asked the district administration to provide medical care to the injured.
