Four killed in auto-lorry crash

Four persons were killed and eight others injured when the autorickshaw they were travelling in was hit by a speeding lorry near here today, police said.
The auto passengers were residents of Bendapudi village under Thondangi mandal and were on their way to Jeggampeta town when the mishap occurred near Kathipudi, they said.
Annavaram sub-inspector Partha Saradhi said the deceased included the auto driver.
The bodies were shifted to the Government Hospital at Prathipadu for post-mortem, he said.
The injured were rushed to the General Hospital at Kakinada, the SI said.
