According to a complaint lodged at Vijay Nagar police station here, the 29-year-old woman was at home with her nine-year-old son on January 15 when the four accused barged in and cornered the two at knife-point.
"The accused then asked her to act in an obscene manner which they video recorded in their phone," a senior police officer said.
The woman has also alleged that the accused made away with Rs 25,000 after threatening to upload the MMS on the Internet if she did not give Rs one lakh to them.
As all accused were unknown to the woman, the police are taking help of video footage recorded by CCTVs installed in nearby areas to identify them, the officer added.
